Other Notes | Written by the Foreman, Keith Walter, during the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020/21. After a year's absence of in-person contact, the dance was designed to be performed as a solo jig with the flexibility of adapting it to a set dance. To celebrate our 60th Anniversary, it has a Cotswold/Border feel to commemorate our history and incorporates a 'diamond' shape within the chorus. Named 'Under the Hat' after a game played during our weekly online Zoom meetings throughout lockdown. The dance was videoed by the Foreman and circulated for individual home-learning in readiness for a video release on May Morning 2021. |
