Successors to a number of Morris groups going back to 16th Century.
A north western style team based on English Electric was operational in 1920s.

Archive Notes
The primary archive is in about 60 Scrap Books.
These date back to 1957 when the club was resurrected These are currently held by Club members John Edwards and Max Haynes, but are in the process of digitisation. There is also a club log book compiled by Peter Stephens for 50 years, but this is not currently up to date.
It is intended that all archives will in due course be sent to the Staffordshire Record Office.
There are also a couple of booklets and a CD called "Knot to be missed" held by various members.
