Side originated as Carlisle Morris, Carlisle Morris and Sword, Carlisle Sword, Morris and Clog, finally Carlisle Clog and Sword. The side itself started in 1975, but clog was not formally acknowledged until 1978. As the side is predominantly clog now, we have gone with that date. The current line-up has not the energy to change the name again.
